James Halliday, in his 2011 Australian Wine Companion, gives Paramoor Winery an outstanding report. He has again rated Paramoor at 4.5 stars and views Paramoor as an ‘excellent producer of very high quality wines’ that is ‘knocking on the door’ of 5 stars.

He has rated Paramoor's 2007 'The Fraser' Shiraz/Cabernet Sauvignon at 94 points. This follows a 96 points rating for Paramoor's 2006 'The Fraser' Shiraz/Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot in the 2009 Australian Wine Companion and 95 points for the 2008 Paramoor Riesling in the 2010 edition.
