Like the Cabernet Franc this parcel was originally destined for blending, but the fruit had other plans. Perfumed, expressive and varietally exceptional. Lifted aromatics, supple mid-palate, and beautifully integrated tannins.
Deeply hued in saturated crimson purple, this young yet expressive Malbec was wild fermented on skins for three weeks before being pressed to barrel. The nose is dark-fruited and perfumed, with lifted aromas of blackberry compote, black cherry, and ripe plum layered with subtle cedar, dried mountain herbs, and a trace of graphite. The palate is medium to full-bodied and confidently structured. Plush in texture yet finely etched with acidity and polished tannin. Concentrated without heaviness, it displays both immediacy and promise. A pure, varietal Malbec of impressive balance and aging potential.
Perfect Pairing This wine finds its perfect partner in a chargrilled ribeye or scotch fillet. The marbling and sear draw out the wine’s dark-fruited depth, while its freshness and tannin frame the richness of the meat with precision.
