The 2024 Vintage.
The 2024 vintage at Paramoor was a tricky one with multiple frost events throughout ripening. The region as a whole had marvellous weather after a somewhat cold and wet spring. Yields were lower than normal but with fine acidity and excellent colour and phenolic ripeness. The erratic frost conditions highlighted the different microclimates across the Macedon Ranges. Vintage began in Will’s vineyard on April 24th following a three month warm spell.

Tasting Note
The 2024 Riesling, crafted from Pewsey Vale clones, is a precise and expressive cool-climate release. The nose opens with vibrant lime zest, white florals, and hints of green apple and crushed slate. On the palate, a tight acid line drives flavours of lemon pith, mandarin, and subtle jasmine, delivering clarity and tension. There’s a touch of talc and wet stone minerality that brings focus to the wine’s finely textured finish. Racy, pure, and uncompromisingly fresh, this is a Riesling built for both early enjoyment and graceful development in bottle.
