This week Will has put together a mixed case of Shiraz and Cab Sav – warming wines for this winter weather!

The ‘Old Reds’ case is made up of

6 bottles of 2016 ‘Maxwell Leonard’ Shiraz

3 bottles of 2013 ‘Uncle Fred’ Cab Sav and

3 bottles of 2011 ‘The Fraser’ Shiraz/Cab Sav blend.

There’s a wide range of experiences packaged up in this box.  It’s well worth getting a hold of.

Until the end of June, while stocks last.

Of the ‘Maxwell Leonard’

One of our most popular and smooth wines.  Careful winemaking has produced a spicy, elegant wine with vibrant blackcurrant and berry flavours.  The ‘Maxwell Leonard’ has a good length on the palate and will mature well.

Of the ‘Uncle Fred’

Deep crimson red in colour. Possibly the best red wine yet released by Paramoor, the 2013 ‘Uncle Fred’ Cabernet Sauvignon has been allowed to age for almost seven years to allow its full potential to be realised. A bouquet of summer fruits leads into a rich palate featuring almost a compote, without sweetness, of blueberries, blackberries, Satsuma plums and great tannins. A hint of vanilla in the long, lingering finish completes an outstanding tasting experience. We expect this wine to age well for at least twenty years.

Of ‘The Fraser’

Intense, deep red-purple.  Lush red and black fruits spanning plum, blackberry, blackcurrant and black cherry.  The tannins are ripe and well balanced, the oak absorbed by the fruit.  This wine can be cellared until 2031.
